Performance of The Chrysalides
BYT were excited to be working at Dean Street Studios, Soho, alongside members of the fantastic House Gospel Choir.
We were supported by award-winning artist and television personality Alesha Dixon, as we recorded music for the soundtrack of new film Fire Lily
Fire Lily is written and directed by filmmaker and poet Phil Dunn and produced by Theresa Godly.
The project forms part of BYT’s ongoing creative collaboration with LoveArts

Brixton Youth Theatre is excited to be taking part in NT Connections Youth Theatre Festival 2026. We are thrilled to be teaming up with Theatre Peckham our Connections Partner Theatre Company for a performance of the play.
Britney’s Lock:
When Ruby acquires a lock of Britney Spears’ hair as a relic to help her stay calm during her GCSE mocks, her friends dismiss it, but one by one they feel its power and want a piece of it, until it is destroyed. This funny play about how we cope in stressful situations, explores the power of belief and friendship.
BYT had a wonderful celebration as part of the Mayor’s Community Weekend, featuring delicious Caribbean and South Asian food, along with an inspiring Open Mic showcasing performances from both adults and young people.

It was a fantastic coming together of communities from the various BCB projects, highlighting our shared cultures and creativity.
