BYT had a thrilling week and have now finished filming the ‘Film in a week’ – It’s in the can and is now being edited.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY with Sixteenfeet Productions

Sixteenfeet Productions are auditioning for young actors to perform as an ensemble in their summer tour of ‘Wind in the Willows.

This a brilliant opportunity to work alongside a cast of professional actors. (Last year BYT member were involved in their Alice In Wonderland and had a fantastic time)

As this is a promenade production you will also be stewarding the audience from scene to scene.

Wind in the Willows runs from 25th July- 23rd August and visits four different London Parks.

25th July – 2nd August (Brockwell Park, Brixton)

7th – 10th August (Morden Hall, Morden)

13th – 16th August (Rookery Gardens, Streatham)

19th- 23rd August (Walpole Park, Ealing)

You will be 16 or over, a reliable, committed actor with good time keeping skills and the ability to interact with the public in a courteous and confident manner.

You will receive £10 per performance to cover your expenses. There will be two performances a day and the running time is one hour.

We will be holding an audition workshop on Tuesday 21st July from 3-3:45pm at Brixton Community Base, Talma Road, London SW2 1AS.

Would you like to make a ‘FILM IN A WEEK’

As part of BYT’S Summer Activities Programme, we are running an exciting ‘Film in a Week’ project.

Working with expert film makers and drama facilitators – you will have the opportunity to devise, rehearse and then shoot, a short film – all in one week!

Participants will be able to: –

Create the storyline;
Develop their film acting skills;
Help behind the scenes with camera work, sound and editing;
Be involved in directing scenes;
Celebrate the finished results with a screening at the Brixton Community Base.

The dates are from Tuesday 21 July – Sat 25 July 11am – 4pm
